Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Security Committee: The Security Essentials for 2025

With the rapidly changing cybersecurity and privacy political and threat landscape, both in the U.S. and internationally, it is critical that healthcare is ready to address issues as the arise. With this goal in mind, the Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Security committee works to develop guidance and recommendations on all aspects of cybersecurity and privacy. During this session we will discuss: What the HIMSS cyber committee is & its initiatives, recent trends & discussion re: cybersecurity, privacy, and security, and critical information to help improve security posture of healthcare organizations.
