Digital health has been hyped as a panacea to everything ailing care delivery, brimming with promise to reduce costs, increase care access, alleviate burnout, and more. With the vast number of applications and wide variety of promoted benefits, health systems are tasked with establishing ways to measure the success of digital health programs. Industry best practices are not established for measuring most digital resources, leaving it up to individual healthcare organizations to determine how to select KPIs, measure impact and what additional factors could impact outcomes beyond the technology. This session will discuss one health system’s approach to establishing a framework for measuring the impact of its digital health tools and what the results have shown.
