Information

In this session, attendees will learn about the development of technical configuration standards and documentation to drive equipment deployment standardization. These standards can be used to improve patient safety, cybersecurity and overall equipment management. Attendees will learn how to assess their organization’s readiness for technical configuration standards, what to include in a technical configuration document, how to develop and implement configuration standards, how to monitor conformance to the standards and best practices for ongoing review of published standards. We will also discuss how equipment deployment standardization improves cybersecurity and response to incidents, patient safety and vulnerability management.
