Information

This work was part of a larger Virtual Care initiative with the mission to support Whole-Person Care and the Triple Aim by bringing exceptional clinical care to patients wherever they are, whenever they need it, while also meeting the dual paradigm of provider and patient satisfaction. This project was designed to decrease provider messaging burden and introduced a new and innovative way to reimburse providers for the care they provide around medical messages. We will share the scope, goals, approach and outcomes. In addition to an increase in revenue, this effort also recognizes the requests of providers to address provider fatigue. We believe this would result in enhanced provider satisfaction. This is a mechanism to ensure provider reimbursement for medical care currently offered for free via medical messages. Each of these elements ensures that we are helping to support the bottom line, which allows us to better serve our patients now and into the future.
