Information
This project examines how health informatics and data visualization can promote health equity by enhancing patient portal engagement among underrepresented Latino communities in Providence County, Rhode Island. Using bilingual dashboards, EHR data insights, and community-level demographic analysis, the study highlights digital literacy gaps and language barriers that dilute county-level data. The goal is to inspire health systems to design culturally tailored patient engagement strategies that reflect accurate community representation.
