Information

At this kiosk, the Convener will engage visitors to discuss the Veteran Interoperability Pledge, answer questions, and share insights on improving Veteran care through collaboration across healthcare organizations. The Convener will provide guidance on high-priority use cases, interoperability standards, and implementation approaches that help turn interoperability commitments into actionable solutions across the healthcare ecosystem.

Representatives from VHIE (Veterans Health Information Exchange) will also be present at the kiosk to highlight how health information exchange enables secure, timely sharing of Veteran health data between the Department of Veterans Affairs and community providers. VHIE staff will demonstrate how interoperability solutions are currently supporting care coordination, continuity of care, and improved clinical decision-making for Veterans receiving care both inside and outside the VA system.

Through collaborative dialogue and real-world examples, the kiosk will serve as a space for healthcare leaders, technologists, and policymakers to explore practical strategies for advancing interoperability and strengthening partnerships that ultimately improve health outcomes for Veterans.
