Information
The HL7 Da Vinci Project is a private-sector initiative bringing together 60+ industry-leading payers, providers, and technology vendors to accelerate the adoption of HL7® FHIR®. By uniting stakeholders to solve high-volume, manual business challenges, the project develops standardized Implementation Guides (IGs) and sample code that automate data exchange and support value-based care. Several Da Vinci IGs are now referenced in federal regulations, including the CMS Interoperability and Prior Authorization Rule (CMS-0057). Our mission is to transform the healthcare ecosystem by streamlining clinical, quality, and care management workflows, and to reduce administrative burden while improving patient outcomes through scalable, automated interoperability.
