This forum highlights how nurses are influencing healthcare’s future through advanced technologies and leadership, empowering a dynamic and diverse nursing workforce to drive transformative change.

Today’s clinical workforce faces immense pressure, with burnout and high turnover rates threatening the quality of care. To sustain the workforce, major shifts in care delivery are needed. This forum will explore how technology can address the root causes of these workforce challenges and provide sustainable solutions.

  • Assess technologies that streamline nurses’ administrative tasks, reduce workflow burdens, and improve operational efficiency.

  • Apply workforce planning, technological, and educational innovations to address nurse staffing shortages and measure their effects on patient outcomes.

  • Identify strategies for engaging nurses as vital partners in advancing health equity and patient engagement, focusing on training, collaboration, and promoting a diverse, inclusive healthcare environment.

  • Explore forward-thinking educational approaches that adapt nurse training for evolving roles in the changing healthcare landscape.

  • Assess the importance of partnerships between healthcare organizations and educational institutions in preparing nurses for emerging technologies and their effect on care delivery.
