This panel discussion brings together executive leadership, cyber security operations, and clinical engineering leadership and expertise for a multidimensional discussion on bolstering resiliency in healthcare organization. Focused on both cyber and clinical perspectives, this talk explores the cyber elements that can lead to visibility and prevention of ransomware, but also the clinical downstream effects and involvement of clinical engineering and patient care teams. Given the large-scale cyber attacks that continue to plague the healthcare industry, this talk looks to explore the impacts, resources and collaboration teams across the organization—from engineers to executive leadership to cybersecurity to clinical staff—that are needed to help protect healthcare organizations, minimize downtime and take resiliency to the next level. Practical steps and guidance will be provided from leading healthcare organizations in how they assessed and tackled ransomware resiliency from a people, process and technology perspective.
