Under the Program Executive Office, Defense Healthcare Management Systems, DOD Healthcare Management System Modernization manages a portfolio of complementary solutions to transform military health care delivery and advance data sharing through a modernized federal electronic health record system, MHS GENESIS®, which serves the military community, veterans, and their families. DHMSM continues to improve MHS GENESIS functionality and address user needs and pain points and implement new products for providers and patients. Focus areas include Digital First, Charge Services Optimization, Outpatient Pharmacy Billing, and Preference Card Integration.
